free guided walks
With 30 artists included in the One Night in Footscray program, you might be feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the options. If you’re unsure where to start or in need of some guidance, come along to a free guided tour hosted by one of our lovely committee volunteers.
Each tour will have a different itinerary and end point, showcasing the various art installations, performances, music and food traders involved in One Night in Footscray:
6:30pm will focus on the Footscray CBD, featuring a game of Trugo, crossing a road with the creative guidance of Intersection, picking a pom-pom flower from the Tangeneers in Maddern Square, and finishing at VU at MetroWest for an exhibition viewing.
7:30pm will take you through the back alleys of Footscray, incorporating Suburbanology paste-ups, a karaoke session with Labour, totally not pointless palm reading and the opportunity to leave your story at Footscray Library, a visit to the Makers Window, and finishing at Bar Josephine for a science experiment.
Itineraries are subject to change.
Depart from Footscray Train Station at 6:30pm and 7:30pm
Registration is required and numbers are limited.
