ROV welcomes The Cass - an avid vinyl enthusiast with an ear for mid-to-late 90's house and techno music. Having spent the last several years gathering dusty vinyl records both here and abroad, 'The Cass' has developed a diverse aural range with a keen focus on the 'deep' and 'dramatic'. Always challenging and never dull.
Located in the foyer of Trocadero Art Space, Gen Lown’s work, A broken suburban dream/Remnants of a broken psyche, comments on the decay and aftermath of the Australian suburban ideals lived throughout summer, and its decay by the end of summer.
This installation brings together some of Melbourne’s best known disability activists for a live and collaborative paste up to celebrate the culture of Melbourne’s disabled community, challenging the narrow stereotypes of disability and making a stand that joins with the international disability pride movement.
